Some of the new models to come from Oxford Diecast over the next few months, which were mentioned in Diecast Collector's July issue news pages, were recently seen at trade shows.

They included the 1/43 scale Jensen Interceptor (seen in our ‘What’s New’ pages), MG Magnette ZA and Queen Mother’s Daimler DS420 limousine. In 1/76 scale, we saw the new ‘Green Goddess’ (the first version of which dealers report is selling out fast), Scania and DAF recovery vehicles, MAN artic, Ferguson TE20 tractor, Daimler DS420, Leyland TLM fire escape, Mechanical Horse and tanker trailer, E Series Vauxhall Velox, Sunbeam Rapier, Austin A40 Farina, Morris 8 Series E saloon, Morris Minor ‘low-light’, Daimler Conquest and Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire. First shots of the ‘N’ scale ‘Queen Mary’ and ‘RT’ buses were also on show.

Meanwhile, a new publication from Oxford is the 2008 Review, priced at £6.99, which shows every Oxford Diecast model, including promotionals, made since the early 1990s, plus news of some new releases to come. This is to be an annual publication, which will be a must for Oxford’s many fans.
