The flow of great new models from Oxford Diecast continues, with brand new castings in a range of scales. ...

In the December issue of Diecast Collector we can now show you some of the many models mentioned in our news pages last month.

First is the Austin K8 ‘Three-way’ van, so-called because of the doors to the body on both sides as well as the rear, which will appear over the next few months in both 1/43 scale and the smaller 1/76 scale, in Lancashire Evening Post, Pink Paraffin and Wall’s Ice Cream colours, followed by Mann Egerton ‘Austin Service’ and the Wayfarer Ambulance in Nottingham colours. Also in 1/43 scale, as well as new colour schemes on recently-introduced castings, like the MG Magnette, which will come as a maroon and cream ZB Varitone and a ZA in Birsh Grey, there will be the pre-war Jaguar SS 2.5 saloon shown last month, in maroon, then black or cream, plus the new Austin Princess and the pre-war Austin ‘Low-Loader’ Taxi in blue or black, as already seen in the smaller scale.

These are just some of the latest castings, but there will also be new versions of many of the other popular models from Oxford Diecast, including cars, ice cream vans and many others. A new pocket catalogue showing all the latest releases is also available.
