Model-Icons has just released its brand new Jaguar Mark 2. The Jaguar’s status as a timeless British classic was cemented in 1987 when Colin Dexter’s Inspector Morse novels were brought to the TV screen. Although in the original books Morse has a Lancia, it was decided that he should drive a classic British car and a 1960 2.4 litre maroon Jaguar Mark 2 was chosen.

This is the first of many highly accurate and detailed models to be released in the TV and film range from Model-Icons. The Jaguar Mark 2 Inspector Morse comes in 1/18 scale and is fully licensed by Jaguar and ITV (ref no 701001). It has the registration number 248 RPA, features opening doors, boot and bonnet with a fully detailed interior and comes packaged in a special edition box.

Distributors have been appointed throughout Europe, and also in the USA and Australia, and with an RRP of £84.99 we think it will be a sure-fire winner! It is available to buy from all good model retail outlets.
