Two new price guides have been published by The London Cigarette Card Co.
First up is the Cigarette Card Catalogue 2011 which is the 82nd edition of the original price guide and features over 7,000 series of cigarette cards and silks issued in the UK and abroad from the 19th century to the present day.
The catalogue contains three sections: British cigarette cards – virtually all known cards that have been issued in Britain; Foreign cigarette cards – mainly from English speaking countries but also covers cards from Malta, South Africa and the Far East; the Reprinted series – of which there are now over 350 sets listed.
Second comes the Trade Card Catalogue 2011, which is the 36th edition of the price guide devoted entirely to non-tobacco cards. This year’s edition has an extra eight pages and a new eight-page section of 65 colour illustrations with over 130 new entries bringing the catalogue right up to date.
The catalogue has over 6,000 entries covering a selection of issues such as Brooke Bond Tea, Bassett, Topps and Typhoo Tea, as well as the newer companies such as Rittenhouse, Skybox, Inkworks, Golden Era and Rockwell.
The Cigarette Card Catalogue 2011 is priced at £7 and the Trade Card Catalogue 2011 at £5.50. Both price guides can be bought directly from the publishers with free postage to UK addresses.
