Kingsway Kits produces a series of over 30 detailed card kits depicting London Transport Central and Country Area garages, plus Underground stations, Southdown’s Bognor bus station and Canvey Island transport museum, formerly an Eastern National garage, not to mention the Aldenham Tilt Test shed.
Designed for use on shelves as a backdrop for model buses, the kits are made from stout mounting card, to be cut with knife and steel rule and assembled with all-purpose glue. With suitable model buses and other details, they make for a splendid display, as seen at the recent London Transport Acton Depot open day. Prices range from £10 to £18.
