Brand new DAF in the livery of John Mackirdy Haulage from Search Impex

The latest 1/50 scale model truck release from Search Impex is a DAF XF105 Super Space (6x2) tractor unit and 3-axle, refrigerated (carrier) trailer with side underrun bars, customised in the livery of Scottish operator John Mackirdy Haulage.

The model was commissioned after John Mackirdy Haulage won Transport News’ ‘Scotland’s Most Innovative Haulier of the Year 2011’ reward. The DAF XF105 Super Space is the latest addition to the Mackirdy fleet, which also uses Volvo, MAN and ERF trucks, together with a variety of trailers, including fridges, chill liners, curtains, flats, tankers and tippers.

The limited edition model is available from Search Impex priced at £137 each (including UK delivery & VAT). Just 105 pieces have been produced so snap up this model while you can.
