Bonhams has announced that it is closing its Midlands saleroom at the 16th century converted farmhouse on Station Road, Knowle. Bonhams’ toy specialist, Kegan Harrison, has joined the staff at Vectis to specialise in the railway department. The last toy sale at Knowle was held on 27th September.

However, Bonhams is not leaving the area completely. Future sales will be held at its Shipton-on-Cherwell office, just north of Oxford. As well as Shipton-on-Cherwell, Bonhams also has regional salerooms in Chester and Edinburgh. The first toy sale to be held at Shipton-on-Cherwell will be on 8th February. Further details can be obtained through Leigh Gotch at Bonhams’ London offices.
