Devon and Cornwall Auctions has been asked to sell what they believe is the only shooting film script of the 1965 film, 'Flight of the Phoenix'.

The script is a specially bound edition presented to the author of the book, Elleston Trevor. It was given to him by 20th Century Fox Motion Pictures in recognition of the success of the film based on his book.

It has been entered for sale by his son, Jean Pierre Trevor, and comes with a signed paperback, a film poster and a wonderful album full of signed photographs of the cast and crew including Richard Attenborough, James Stewart, Ernest Borgnine, Hardy Kruger and a host of others. The pre-sale estimate is £6,000-10,000.
