With a brand new 007 movie in the offing, I thought it was a good idea to pay tribute to the car that has become famous as Bond himself – the DB5, a 1960s icon with all manner of gadgets, as demonstrated in this famous quote: “Passenger ejector seat? You’re joking,” said Bond. “I never joke about my work,” replied Q. The car captured the imagination of moviegoers around the globe and it was inevitable that the car would become collectable in both full size and model scale.

Here, I'll take a look at some of the best Aston Martin DB5 collectables currently out there, including models from the usual Corgi Toys, along with less well known items from Gama Company and ASC. Also, if you fancy a more modern take on the Aston Martin DB5, then make sure you watch our video of the new Skyfall DB5 and enter our competition to win one.
