Another successful sale took place at The Canterbury Auction Gallery recently, with items ranging from Dinky racing cars to farm figures.

A No.26 Bugatti rail car in red and cream with green plastic wheels, a Dinky No.16 Silver Jubilee train set and a French Dinky No.16 Auto Matrice Rapide sold as one lot and made a hammer price of £270.

If vehicles with engines weren’t your thing, then down on the farm a pre-War Taylor & Barrett farm wagon with load, horses and vegetable baskets went for £310 including premium.

Lot 676, a Dinky Thompson aircraft tender "Shell Aviation Service" No. 60y, sold for a somewhat impressive price of £250.
