Autocult Golden Ford

Autocult have announced a new model of the 1911 Golden Ford. This one off racing car was built by racing driver and aviation pioneer A.E. George, based on a much modified Model T.  It was raced at Brooklands and won the all-Ford race of 1912. George’s car was unlike most cars of the time using lightweight materials and an overhead valve cylinder head on the Model T’s engine that gave nearly double the power of a standard engine. Autocult are building just 333 models of this pioneering Ford, priced at £86.99. For more information on stockists, contact John Ayrey’s www.ayrey.co.uk
