A familiar site on the roads all around the country, since the first one was built in 1984, the Houghton Professional livestock transporter is paired here with a Scania cab in the colourful livery of George Anderson & Son, based in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire.

Houghton claims that this trailer is the UK's most popular choice and, given how frequently we see them, they are probably right. The trailer is an accurate replica of the company's versatile Professional Four Deck unit that can carry sheep or pigs on all four tiers or larger, adult cattle on two and features a built-in slurry tank, which is nice.

The bright and vibrant livery is perfectly applied and the finish, to the apertures in particular, make this a real stand-out model to add to your collection. Display this with the DAF-hauled Skeldon Transport version reviewed on page 12 and you have a really outstanding pair.

The detail to the cab unit is very pleasing too with the roof-line light bar an obvious mention. The printing of the livery detail is spot on - the pinstriping is superb. Another success from Oxford and an excellent addition to any fleet.
