Matrix Maserati

Matrix have announced a new 1/43 scale model of the gorgeous Maserati 5000GT Frua Coupé. This amazing car was built from 1959 to 1964 and featured a 5-litre V8 engine developing up to 340bhp. It was incredibly expensive when new – costing $17,000 at a time when an E-type Jaguar cost £1900. As a result they sold to the incredibly wealthy and many were personalised to suit their owners. The Frua bodied car was exceptionally pretty and is depicted here in metallic red by Matrix.
