Get a sneak peek at some of the new models from DNA Collectibles due throughout 2020.
We popped by to meet DNA Collectibles at Spielwaremesse and got a sneak peek at some of the wonderful new models due throughout 2020.
As well as the much-discussed second version of the Jensen-built Volvo P1800, in red this time, there was plenty on display to get excited about as well. We picked out four 1/18 scale models to focus on. Continuing with both the VW and Saab licensing, the wonderfully bright VW Beetle Dune Concept and Amarok Aventura were joined by beautiful pair of Saabs - a 9000 CSE and a 99 Turbo. Apart from the P1800, which is production ready, all the others are very much still at the prototype stage so there are likely to be some minor updates but they all look fabulous, as you can see here.
In other news, DNA has announced a revision of its packaging and this will begin to ship with the Volvo P1800 models at the end of February as the company moves into supplying the retail trade so this new style will provide much more visibility on the shelves, plus it will allow the price of the models to be reduced too - cost savings being passed on to the collector!
