General opinion was that this year's Alresford show, attended by over 600 visitors, was one of the best in terms of variety, quality and sales. Over 23 displays gave customers a mouth watering time. Included were the usual favourites such as Hornby O Electric and Clockwork, Dublo 2 and 3-Rail, with Silver Jubilee Locomotives to help celebrate 25 years, Tri-ang 00 with Minic Motorway and TT, Trix, Airfix, Lego, Historic 00 Gauge and Hornby Acho with an airport featuring a Bristol Freighter with lights, on the runway. Over 90 sales tables kept punters happy and the local Scouts kept everyone fed and watered. Over £2000 was raised for local groups. Next year's show is 16 June 2018.
