Bachmann Europe has made its first new product announcements for 2020, following the launch of the British Railway Announcements – Spring 2020.
Twenty new items have been announced for the Bachmann Branchline and Scenecraft OO scale ranges, all of which are due to arrive in the next three months, whilst more than thirty previously announced items have been confirmed for release during the same period.
Highlights include the Class 37/7 37800 ‘Cassiopeia’ in Europhoenix livery (available with and without SOUND FITTED), C Class 1573 in SR Lined Black livery and a return of the popular Bluebell Railway station buildings which will be available in two colour schemes for the first time.
Following the arrival of several highly anticipated models in late 2019 - including the OO scale J72, Ransomes & Rapier 45T Steam Crane, Class 158 DMU and Class 24/1 – there are more exciting models due to arrive in the next three months. Alongside the Class 159 DMUs and remaining Class 24/1s, Spring 2020 will also see the arrival of the first of the new Graham Farish N scale Thompson Coaches and the Class 70s with Air Intake Modifications. The first of the new Bachmann Branchline OO scale Class 117 and 121 DMUs are also scheduled for release as the new arrivals continue to roll.
The British Railway Announcements was unveiled during Bachmann’s Spring 2020 Retailer Conference and for the first time this trade-only event was opened up to members of the Bachmann Collectors Club. Club members had the opportunity to attend a dedicated session where they can see all the new models for themselves whilst meeting members of the Bachmann team who will be on hand to answer any questions they may have.
