Well, now that the summer's over - two days nice weather for a bank holiday weekend is more than we normally get, so you should be chuffed - it's time to get back to the serious business of collectables at auction. On 18th May, Lacy, Scott & Knight has more than 1,000 items up for grabs in the Collectors' Models sale. Across two auction rooms, bidders can get their hands on various model railways, Britains toy figures, plastic kits, Corgi models, Dinky diecast, Matchbox and Model of Yesteryear, general diecast items, plus tinplate, Tri-ang and juvenalia.

Below you can see a selection of some of the 'featured lots' going under the hammer from 10am, with descriptions from Lacy, Scott & Knight. Viewing is held on 17th May from 12pm until 7pm and there's limited viewing on the morning of the sale from 8.45am only. Scratch built 5 inch gauge Southern (ex LBSCR) Billinton 4-6-4 Baltic tank locomotive, near complete but needs finishing some parts missing ie backhead fittings, safety valves steam pipes to cylinders etc some photocopy drawings supplied, boiler is 1/8 inch copper with builders name stamped in, body painted in southern green. Estimate £2,000 - 2,500.

Corgi Toys, 448, Austin Police Mini Van and Tracker Dog, dark blue body, red interior, grey aerial, policeman and dog figure apparent, white logo, sold in blue and yellow carded box with inner pictorial sliding tray (VG/NM-BVG). Estimate £120 - 180.

Unusual tether racer racing car of 1950s vintage, from steel and aluminium with fitted large aero engine to drive rear wheels for tether racing, adjustable steering, rubber tyres marked 'Cressite' ED Speedicord, 15 inches long. Estimate £250 - 300.

German (?) tinplate revolving clockwork globe with SPUTNIK and flying saucer, both plastic revolving slightly faster than the globe, circa 1957, possibly Technofix, very good condition and rare. Estimate £80 - 100.

Gilson Riecke, 1/16 scale whiter metal model of an International TD9 diesel crawler, red body with black seat and silver tracks, Gilson Riecke to underside, unboxed but complete, rare (VG). Estimate £250 - 400.

Corgi Toys, 261, James Bond's Aston Martin DB5, Bright gold body, red interior, wire wheels, James bond figure and bandit figure seated inside car, secret instructions envelope has been opened, spare bandit figure , self adhesive 007 badge, sold with model car makers to James Bond catalogue, 1965 issue, sold in blue and yellow pictorial box with inner pictorial stand (NM-BVG). Estimate £200 - 300.

Corgi Toys, 336, James Bonds Toyota 2000 GT, white body, red aerial, 2 figures, rocket launchers in boot, sold in carded diorama box, 7 rockets not on sprue, secret instructions envelope opened, instructions apparent, sold with 007 self adhesive badge, minor paint chips, box is crisp (VG,BVG). Estimate £200 - 300.
