It was with some apprehension that C&T Auctioneers held its planned April sale.
Obviously the current situation we all find ourselves in made things difficult but the company decided that it would run with an online auction only.
The private single owner Star Wars collection was put together by the vendors during the 1980s up until the late 1990s. They would attend specialist shows and visit shops in the UK, they also would add to the collection when they went to the USA on their annual visit.
The sale, using three online auction platforms including the C&T Live platform, was a huge success; all 250 lots sold, with a final hammer price of £70,120.

Lot 181 Scarce Kenner Star Wars The Power of The Force Anakin Skywalker with special collectors coin. Hammer price: £4000
Lot 2: Palitoy Star Wars Chewbacca Vintage Original Carded Figure, 3 ¾ inches mint, with a mint bubble on a near mint 12a back unpunched card. Hammer price: £3300
Lot 11: Palitoy Star Wars Jawa Vintage Original Carded Figure. Hammer price: £1800
Lot 22: Boxed Palitoy Star Wars Darth Vader Tie Fighter, Cat No.33324, in mint unused condition. Hammer price: £480
Lot 25: Boxed Palitoys Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back Tauntaun, with open belly rescue feature, 1980 issue. Hammer price: £280
Lot 82 Kenner Star Wars Return of The Jedi Boba Fett Vintage Original Carded Figure. Hammer price: £660
