Diverse Abilities has received a donation of 45 dolls looking for a new home!

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, has received a donation of 45 dolls looking for a new home. The collection is a mixture of male and female Reborn and New Silicon Dolls – all very high quality, fully dressed and some with accessories such as dummies and jewellery.

Ideal for an enthusiast, the dolls have been stored in a large cupboard and are in perfect condition from a smoke and pet free home. The total value of the collection is £6,310 and the charity is accepting offers on behalf of the seller with the income to be split 50/50.

Diverse Abilities is the only charity in Dorset to support both children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities, as well as supporting their families with advice and guidance. The COVID-19 pandemic has seen the charity halt all of its fundraising activity at a time when PPE costs have rocketed. Visit diverseabilities.org.uk/dolls to find out more about the collection and charity’s work.
