Customised promotional model trucks specialist, Search Impex, announces the release of three new 1/50 scale trucks!
Derbyshire-based customised promotional model trucks specialist, Search Impex, is delighted to announce the release of three new 1/50 scale trucks, all produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models.
Customised in the distinctive and well-known livery of Scottish operator, John Mitchell Haulage & Warehousing, “Grange Indominable” is a Scania R500 Normal (6x2) tractor unit with a 3-axle curtainside trailer, is now available as a certificated limited edition of 155 examples at £149 each (including UK delivery & VAT).
The company operates throughout the UK and specialises in general haulage and bulk powder transport, serving the transport needs of customers in a broad spectrum of industries. Over the years, John Mitchell Haulage and Warehousing have been awarded a number of industry accolades, including the prestigious Motor Transport, UK Haulier of the Year award, in 2002, and Transport News’ Scottish Haulier of the Year, in 2016.
The business runs an impressive fleet numbering around 155 trucks and 230 trailers. All tractor units in the fleet carry names prefixed with “Grange”. Also brand new and available in John Mitchell Haulage & Warehousing livery is another Scania R500 Normal (6x2) tractor unit, “Grange Vettriano”, hauling a 3-axle bulk tipping powder tanker trailer. This certificated limited edition of 155 examples is priced at £157 each (including UK delivery & VAT).
Rounding off the trio is a Volvo FH Globetrotter 6x2 with 3-axle container trailer, customised in the attractive livery of another Scottish operator, A & D Logistics. This model has been commissioned to celebrate the occasion of the company’s 25th anniversary this year, and is a certificated limited edition of 175 examples, priced at £156 each (including UK delivery & VAT).
Based in the central belt of Scotland, A & D Logistics is a national logistics haulier, operating from a new, purpose built, state of the art depot in Linwood. The company operates in excess of 90 trucks (predominantly Volvo in its smart two tone blue livery) and whilst curtainsiders and flatbeds feature amongst the trailers, the business is known for specialising in the movement of containers, so has a sizeable number of skeletal trailers in the fleet.
