Launching soon will be a range of reproduction models that was first test-launched late in 2019.

The range is officially getting under way, with another run of the tester model to set the whole exciting series off to a great start.

We all remember the sound on a sweltering hot summer’s day. The evocative and hypnotic Wall’s jingle accompanied by the puttering sound of a Ford Thames van’s hard-working engine as it drives down your street. You come racing down the stairs, “Mum! Can I have an ice cream?”

Few diecast vehicles have so successfully evoked that pure sense of nostalgia as Corgi’s classic 1966 Wall’s Ice Cream Van model. Catalogue No 474, it’s one of the all-time greats. An essential item in any diecast enthusiast’s collection.

Original working models are extremely hard to come by and change hands for hundreds of pounds today. But, by popular demand, Blue 14 has teamed up with Corgi to bring you this authentic, 100% accurate replica, complete with reproduction box and colour insert card. Incredibly, the famous wind-up mechanism is also included. Give it a twist and all those golden summer memories will come flooding back as the authentic chimes ring out.

Corgi sold almost 150,000 of this colourful classic from 1966 until its withdrawal in 1968, but precious few survive with working chimes. This authentic working, musical replica, only available via this new offer, is a fabulous tribute to our great British model-making heritage, and it can be yours for just £1.99 (with FREE P&P). Your officially licensed diecast model will arrive complete with an authentic facsimile box, inner display card, full set of decals and a Corgi-approved Certificate of Authenticity. You could also receive a retro Corgi Model Club Badge.

This is the first of many as there are plenty more classic 1960s Corgi Toys lined up for authentic reproduction over the coming months. To find out more and to order, call 08000 55 77 44 or visit www.corgi199.co.uk.
