Diecast Collector August is on sale today!

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Bachmann to bring you a fantastic competition prize for the August 2018 edition of Diecast Collector. No less than 10 EFE 1/72 scale buses worth more than £300 can be won by one lucky reader – just answer the question correctly and you will be entered for a prize draw to win all 10 models. Enter the competition HERE

We are also having a wizard time looking at the scale models from the Harry Potter franchise. Unusually, models were made just based on the descriptions from JK Rawlings original stories and these differed greatly from the vehicles used in the film. We compare them and show you the full range to collect.

McLaren road cars are sometimes described as the “British Ferrari”. We gathered together the best 1/43 scale models of these super and hyper cars, including models of Bruce McLaren’s own road car from the late 1960s that was little more than a racing car with number plates fitted!

We explore Herbert Austin’s ground-breaking Austin 7 and round up the finest models of this tiny car, including the van variants from several model makers. ‘Small' is a great collecting theme and we continue it by exploring the 1950s Bubble Cars and their successor, the Mini, in scale. Staying with the 1950s, believe it or not, the Motorway is 60 years old this year. The Preston By-Pass (now part of the M6) opened in 1958, so we explore the Dinky models of vehicles that may have enjoyed that Dawn of the Motorway Age.
All of this plus the latest news from the world of diecast models, our round up of auction results and 11 pages of new model releases – no other UK magazine reviews more!
