First released in 2024, the Lacers are vinyl collectible figures shaped like miniature custom designed shoes. Manufacturers package them only in blind boxes and make them from soft sculpted PVC.
The company has released four series of the Lacers so far, with the most recent one coming out in May 2025. Series one featured Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Dumbo, the princesses, Stitch and a mystery character. Disney created them specifically for the Disney Stores and classifies this collection as the Classic Character Collection.
Series two included Snow White, Maleficent, Peter Pan, the three little pigs, Hercules and a mystery character. Disney released these as a follow-up to the first classic characters because of its original success.
Series three was titled the 1990s collection. This included old school classics like Darkwing Duck, Scrooge McDuck and Huey, Dewey and Louie. Around a similar release time was also a limited edition Donald Duck lacer.
Finally, their most recent collection was the Disney Parks collection. This included Its a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, King Arthur Carrousel, Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise and a mystery attraction.
There has also been a Star Wars Limited Edition release. The mystery bags cost £10 each for a bag including one shoe. This is on the pricier side for a single mystery bag, but when it is being sold in the Disney store it isn't unexpected.
However, the Star Wars limited edition lacer is currently reselling for £50. So it may well be worth the £10 investment.
Disney Loungefly Backpacks

Loungefly are a well-renowned and well-loved brand of backpacks, accessories and apparel. They partnered with Disney back in 2018 and have become a staple accessory for Disney lovers all over the world. The backpacks themselves have become collectibles on their own, with fans have walls full of the backpacks, one for every occasion.
The Blind bags however, are smaller keychain versions of the viral large loungefly. Disney currently offers five collections and has now moved them to be sold exclusively online. This is because of customers in the Disney stores ripping open the bags to ruin the mystery. This then deems them unsellable.
The first collection was the Mickey and friends collection. This collection includes Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto. They are all made with 100% polyurethane, excluding the trims and has zip fastening.
The Winnie the Pooh collection includes Pooh Bear, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Kanga and Roo. The Cinderella collection features Cinderella, Gus, Jaq, Fairy Godmother, the Prince and Mary Mouse. This collection was to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the classic animated film.
The most recent collections were Lilo and Stitch and The Nightmare before Christmas. However, most collections online are currently sold out. The public are unaware if they are ever coming back in stock.
This may make the original £20 price tag worth it. As reselling websites are now selling the old collections for double the original price.
