Following the incredible popularity of the previous releases of its superb Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC casting, in an extensive list of liveries, Northcord has released the twentieth version, numbered UK0063, in the colours of Ensignbus.
This latest model represents fleet number 132 (YX66 WLH), and utilises the 10.9 metre, single door casting. Originally delivered new to Go Goodwins Coaches of Eccles, Greater Manchester, in January 2017, Ensignbus acquired the real bus and numbered it 132 in the early part of 2019.
Portrayed carrying Ensignbus’ full, standard livery, it also bears the very special UK Bus Awards commemorative strapline below the fleetname on both sides, that reads, “UK BUS TOP INDEPENDENT OPERATOR”. Further details featured on the model include the additional marker lights above the upper deck and beneath the lower deck windows on both sides, and on the front and rear bumper.
Furthermore, the model replicates the rear advertising to promote the private hire service that is carried on the rear engine access door and which reinforces the message that is carried in all three destination apertures.
Northcord's Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC casting is a one-piece affair and its clean lines accentuate the square, gasket-mounted windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible.
The pair of tree protectors fitted to the front of either side of the upper deck finish the model off perfectly, and it is limited to just 1,008 worldwide, so don't be late or you'll miss the bus!
