The sets consist of two soldiers carrying ensigns, and are featured in the W Britain 2012 Winter Collection catalogue. Each set has been produced in a limited edition run of 600.

The new catalogue that has just been released also includes new ceremonial sets of guardsmen, musicians and a London Gift Set.

Other new releases include classic gloss figures from the W. Britain archive and the Redcoats collection, as well as matt-finish figures from the American Civil War and Napoleonic Wars.

Joining the Zulu War is ‘Desperate Escape’, a British Royal Artillery Gun Team No 1 attempting to escape from a Zulu onslaught. This 14-piece set comes complete with six horses, limber, gun, five British soldiers and a Zulu in the midst of pulling one of the British riders off his horse.
