Ahead of the 16th November sale at Lacy, Scott & Knight, we met up with experts Oliver Leggett and David Ramsey, who highlighted some of their favourite vintage toys heading under the hammer. Corgi Toys, gift set 16, Ecurie Ecosse racing transporter set and 3 cars, comprising of 1126 Ecurie Ecosse, metallic blue with light blue lettering transporter (G), 150S Vanwall Formula 1 car, red body with minor paint chips (G,BG), 151A Lotus Mark II Le Mans racing car, blue body with RN3, noticeable playwear (G,BG), and 152S BRM F1 racing car, turquoise body with RN, some paint losses (G,BG), original all card box with 2 packing pieces and instructions, surface tear to box lid. Sold for £270.

Gilson Riecke 1/16 scale white metal model of a CAT Model 30 tractor, S/PS series, finished in CAT highway yellow, issued in 1999, limited edition, in original box. Sold for £360.

Corgi Toys Gift Set 4 Bristol Ferranti Bloodhound Guided Missile Set, comprising of 351, RAF Land Rover (G), 1115 guided missile, white with red nose and RAF transfers (G), 1116 launching ramp (G), and 1117 bloodhound loading trolley (G), in original blue and yellow all card box with packing piece and Corgi Club leaflet. Sold for £210.

Austin Junior 40 Roadster (J-40) pedal car in cherry red with red rexine upholstery, chassis number 24241 c1960s, early model with chrome "Flying A" bonnet mascot, paint appears original, cream steering wheel with crack to central boss, working horn button, cream dashboard dials, black handbrake, pedals engine cover (with 4 spark plugs) battery clamps present, headlamps with bulbs and lens covers, chrome radiator and front bumper. Austin transfers on each side, rear bumper chrome with crack at one fixing stud, chrome boot latch, black wheel rims with chrome hub caps, black tyres flat but little wear, replacements plastic 'J40' decals on registration plates, NB switch for headlamp missing. Sold for £2,000.

Marklin metal tunnel complete with castle, church, two chateaux, two bridges, two seats, one tree and four railings to footpaths. Sold for £130.

Bassett-Lowke GI wooden green six-sided newspaper booth with black roof and miniature newspaper adverts on sides. Sold for £60.

Hornby 1932-9 green clockwork SAR/SAS 4-4-2 No. 2 special tank loco, one wheel fatigued, loss of lining around keyhole, small chips to body with non-Hornby key and unmarked orange wrapper. Sold for £300.
