Vectis Auctions is set to sell a rare Marklin Engine Hall in its 21st November sale at the Benn Hall in Rugby. Made in 1906 the Hall is being auctioned by a private collector. This charming piece features working parts and some wonderful period decoation and should certainly catch the attention of bidders.

Housed in a two room hall, each room has an individual pitched roof with ornate lattice work and girdering, with three supporting pillars and a large removable chimney to rear. Each room has faux tiling and there is a sliding door between, whilst the engine room has an opening door to the rear. The engine is connected to a line shaft with three pulleys of different sizes which could be connected to accessories outside of the Hall.
