Unusual Star Wars masks and costumes sold at Aston's Auctioneers Images
Although we regularly report on Kenner or Palitoy action figures based on the classic Star Wars films (we don't talk about the other three films), it's not often you see the selection of Star Wars items recently sold at Aston's Auctioneers. You see, instead of being your usual figures or vehicles, these were actually masks and costumes that gave children the opportunity to dress up as their favourite characters to enact favourite scenes from the trilogy.

It's certainly one of the more interesting areas of Star Wars collecting and, as such, it should really come as no surprise to hear that bidders were keen to snap up some of the particularly rare examples. Below you can read descriptions of each item from Aston's, along with the price achieved.
