Unreserved lots to go under the hammer at Gary Don Images

An upcoming auction at Gary Don Auctioneers and Valuers will see the majority of the items coming from a single owner’s collection of model trains and railwayana.

The vendor is an 83-year-old gentleman who has decided to let go of his collection. He and his father collected the items over 45 years (from the 1970s onwards) from toy fairs and exhibitions all over the country.

None of the lots have a reserve attached to them and 90% of the collection is in original condition, while others have been restored by professional restorers. His father built all the display cases for the larger models.
