Grading is a process that's particularly popular in the world of TV and film collectables. Collectors who purhcase a rare Star Wars figure or even a Transformer often want to ensure it's the real deal and want to protect its value by getting it graded. In the past this has been an expensive process because only American companies tended to deal in this delicate process.

Well, now a British company, called UK Graders, is getting in on the grading action. Based in the East Midlands, the company is quickly establishing a reputation among the TV and film collectors for providing quality service. We interviewed owner Stephen Ward to find out what grading entails, why it can help to increase the value of your collectables and if it's good for protecting those potentialy delicate delights.
