A C.I.J. clockwork Alfa Romeo P2 racing car finished in yellow will be offered by Martin & Pole in Wokingham, Berkshire by auction on 22 November. The French made model belonged to the vendor’s father who was born in 1916 in Brighton and was presented with the toy at 14 years old in 1930. Finished in yellow, the racing colour for Belgium, the paintwork is in excellent condition. It has the original key and box, which still contains the original straw packing.
