The Vectis Model Train sale held on 21 September featured a huge range of gauges and accessories, with O gauge predictably achieving the best results.

Of note was a Micro-Metakit O gauge 0-4-0 DR Class T2 Steam Locomotive No.6081, this a 2 rail electric example. One of just 20 produced in 1994, it was near mint in an excellent box. Estimated at £300-400, it realised £720. A Gebauer O gauge 4-6-0 loco and tender, DR black No.258, was lined green, and was of the 2 rail finescale electric variety. This made £960 whilst a Wunder O gauge overhead electric style Bo-Bo DB cream and blue Class 110 (No.110 132-8), 2 rail electric loco was excellent. Its upper guideline of £800 was passed, the model making £960. A Fulgurex O gauge (ref. 2502) 2-8-2 loco and tender also did well: in SNCF green Class 141 No.141R1106, this 2 rail finescale electric example was also from a limited run by Kodama in Japan. Estimated at £700- 900, it finally found a new home for £1,680.
