New trucks from Search Impex

Promotional model trucks specialist Search Impex is pleased to announce the release of two certificated limited edition1/50 scale truck models – a Mercedes Actros MP3 LH 4160 Titan Gigaspace (8x4) solo tractor unit with ballast box, customised in the livery of well-known UK heavy haulage operator G C S Johnson (135 pieces), and a Scania S650 V8 High (6x4) tractor unit with Nooteboom, 4 axle, wide bed low loader trailer, customised in the livery of Scottish operator Tractor Exports Ltd (205 pieces). The models have been produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models.

Based in the North Yorkshire village of Barton, near Richmond, GCS Johnson (Skeeby) Ltd was established in 1969. In 2013, the Mercedes Actros MP3 Titan Gigaspace 8x4 joined the growing fleet.and is believed to be the last Actros of this type to come out of the factory before the launch of the MP4 Actros. Left-hand-drive and plated up to 250 tonnes (STGO CAT 3), it continues to prove itself at the company. This model is priced at £134.00, including UK delivery & VAT.

Tractor Exports has commissioned a run of models for the first time. Based in the village of Coylton, in Ayrshire, the company was established by present day MD, David Craig. Originally known as David Craig Tractors, it is a family owned and run business. The new generation Scania S650 6x4 (on which the model is based) is the latest addition to the fleet. Models are priced at £193 each, including UK delivery & VAT.
