Search Impex has announced a new Scania Topline 6x2 tag axle tractor unit with extender flatbed trailer, customised in the livery of Scottish operator, B. B. Christoffersen.
The 1/50 scale model has been produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Collectibles and is a certificated Limited Edition of 155 pieces, priced at £144.00 including VAT.
Based on the former airfield at Crimond, near Fraserburgh, B.B. Christoffersen offers general road haulage and storage services to its customers – many of which are in the oil and agricultural sectors. With a 24 hour / 7 day per week service, they operate throughout the UK.
In 2014, B. B. Christoffersen is celebrating 50 years of service and, to mark the occasion, decided to commission its first ever run of model trucks. The company has also purchased a new (full size!) Scania Streamline Topline (6x2) tag axle unit finished specially in silver for its 50th anniversary and is, we are told, now “toying” with the idea of having it produced in model form too.
