New A-Team van from Hot Wheels Elite due in June

A new version of Hot Wheels' take on the A-Team Van featuring 'mud' splattered across the model is expected for release this June, according to UK distributor John Ayrey. Although Hot Wheels has previously modelled the iconic vehicle as a part of its Cult Collection series - featuring a huge range of TV and film-inspired replicas - the new 1/43 scale piece has been given a dirty makeover.

Here's the description from Hot Wheels: "The A-Team van as seen in the 1983-87 television show was a 1983 GMC Vandura cargo-van G-series. The A-Team was an American action adventure television series about a fictional group of ex-United States Army Special Forces personnel who work as soldiers of fortune while on the run from the Army after being branded as war criminals for a crime they didn't commit.

"Despite being thought of as mercenaries by the other characters in the show, the A-Team always acts on the side of good and helps the oppressed. Our new 1/43 scale model of this iconic vehicle features mud-spattered deco to show that the van has seen some action! Don’t miss our new and amazing reproduction in 1/43 scale of this legendary vehicle!"
