Nick Andrew, organiser of the TV and film event Movie Buffs, has been in touch to get us know that, due to increased demand from fans, Movie Buffs is moving to a much bigger venue. The move is just in time for the Movie Buffs Christmas Special on 30th November and 1st December and will now take place at the Princess Quay Shopping Centre in Hull, rather than the Prospect Centre. Due to its popularity, which saw almost 2,500 attend the previous fair, Movie Buffs had outgrown the smaller venue.

Packed with dozens of specialist exhibitors from across the UK selling and showcasing all your favourite collectables, including science-fiction, posters, vintage, retro toys, models, autographs, film cells and more, Nick promises the event will provide collectors with the perfect opportunity to pick up a Christmas present.

There will also be a special appearance from actor Rusty Goffe, who played a Jawa in Star Wars and an Oompa Lumpa in the classic '70s film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Finally, if you fancy showing off your dedication to movies, then you can also join the hordes of people who get dressed as their favourite characters, such as Doctor Who and Jedi Knights.
