International Toy Fair 2015: Best model rail layouts

Although the diecast hall is arguably where we spend most of our time during the International Toy Fair, one of the most entertaining - unless you count the slightly terrifying but fun fancy dress hall - is most definitely the railway hall. Exhibitors such as Hornby, Bachmann and Marklin all have fantastic working layouts on their stands, showcasing the best they have to offer.

It's amazing to think that many people would be proud to have these on display in their homes but here they're toured around for shows and events. We can't imagine the amount of work that must go into them... and the amount of work that goes into repairing them after the inevitable bumps and knocks in transit!

Before leaving the toy fair, we took a quick tour round the railway hall to bring you some of the best layouts on display. Whether you're into HO, OO or N gauge, hopefully these will provide you with some inspiration and show you exactly what's possible in often very limited spaces.
