Model kit maker returns with amazing 1/8 scale Lamborghinis. ...
One of the most exciting announcements made during the International Toy Fair 2013 was the return of model kit maker Pocher! Although Pocher joined the Hornby company in 2004, it's been 14 years since the manufacturer produced its last model: a Porsche 911 in 1998. Well, all that's about to change and Pocher is preparing to make brand new 1/8 scale cars with incredible amounts of detail.

The first model from Pocher will be a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 in white isis (HK101) and orange argos (HK100). In keeping with the Pocher tradition the car body of the 13 lbs model is made of premium metal diecast and comes ready painted. The kit is easy to build and can be assembled for both left-hand and right-hand drive. The 1/8 sportster kit consists of more than 600 parts made of an assortment of materials including metal, rubber, textiles and premium quality plastic. Many parts are simply screwed. Of course steering, suspension and spoiler mechanism are functional with doors and hatches being capable of being opened.

We'll be keeping a close eye on the progress of the Pocher kits but, in the meantime, take a look at the short video below to see the model kit compared to the real thing!
