Brumm launches its "Stirling Moss" model collection
SIR Stirling Moss was one of the greatest and most extraordinary competition drivers of the post-war period. He won 212 of the 529 races he took part in across several categories, including the Targa Florio, Mille Miglia, Tourist Trophy and, of course, in Formula 1. He triumphed at sixteen Formula 1 Grand Prix, but never won the world title.
Brumm has just launched its "Stirling Moss Collection". Made entirely in Italy, this impressive new 1/43 scale model series commemorates several highlights of Sir Stirling's impressive career. Starting with the Mercedes 300SLR 1955 Mille Miglia winner, the model comes mounted on a special diorama base in a pictorial fold-out box, and includes figures of both Moss and Jenkinson. Other models released, which also include a Moss driver figure, are Mercedes W196 1955 British GP winner, Vanwall 1957 British GP winner, Cooper T51 1959 Italian GP winner and Mecedes W196 1955 Monza test car. A further six models complete the series, but without driver figures.
