Hot Wheels Elite A-Team Van mud splattered version

Without a doubt one of the most iconic vehicles from TV in the 1980s was the cool A-Team van - even without Mr. T behind the wheel, this is still one motor to be jealous of. So, you can imagine our delight when the latest diecast 1/43 scale replica of this classic van arrived in the office, courtesy of Hot Wheels Elite.

The more astute among you will remember that Hot Wheels has already released an A-Team van, as part of its Cult Classics Collection. However, this refreshed model certainly looks like it has seen some action, thanks to thick layers of mud across the sides and bonnet... Mr. T must have been driving through some muddy puddles while escaping the authorities.

It's certainly a nice addition to the piece and it's not often a model is improved by getting a bit dirty - but that's certainly the case here. The A-Team van was never meant to be pristine and this is anything but pristine. Luckily though, the mud doesn't hide all the detail and there's still plenty to admire, including a super front grille, neat windscreen wipers and crisp lines on the paint job. If you're a fan of the 80s show, then this model is really a must.
