The May issue of Stamp & Coin Mart includes a free pack of Doctor Who postcards, thanks to a special promotion between the magazine and Royal Mail.
The special stamp cards, which are being released to coincide with the forthcoming Doctor Who stamps and miniature sheet each show one of the stamps in the set, with all seventeen to be given away free with the magazine.
Editor Matt Hill said: ‘We work hard to bring our loyal readers special gifts with the magazine, and the postcard pack being given away free with the May issue has to be one of the best promotions we have ever had. We’re really excited to be working with Royal Mail on this project, and are sure readers will enjoy the free gift!’
Issued on 26 March, the Doctor Who stamps have been described as Royal Mail’s ‘blockbuster’ issue for 2013.
The May issue of Stamp & Coin Mart, which went on sale on 12 April, will also feature an article on the stamp-related collectables being produced to coincide with the Doctor Who stamp issue, and thematics articles on science fiction and television on stamps.
