Exclusive First Editions Unveils Latest Subscriber Only Model Images

Exclusive First Editions has unveiled a new model that's only available for those who subscribe to the EFE Subscription Service. The AEC Renown East Yorkshire NBC (30607) is to thank collectors for their continued support of the manufacturer and aims to 'enhance' collections. However, subscribers need to get their orders in quick because "due to the small production quantity of this model, orders will be handled on a strict date received basis".

The subscriber only vehicle (pictured below) depicts the bus' livery when the National Bus Company made East Yorkshire conform to the nationwide corporate NBC colours and the fleet changed from indigo blue and primrose to poppy red and white. The model is registration number CHK 785C, fleet number 785, operating route 121 to Bridlington, Butlin's Camp. It costs £28, including postage and packaging, and to find out more details about becoming an EFE subscriber, check the company's website at www.exclusivefirsteditions.com

What's more in the next issue of Diecast Collector, there are reviews of several other new buses from EFE, including the Bedford SB Vega (18716DL, £31.50, pictured top), GM Standard Atlantean Stagecoach (28607, £30.50) and Leyland PD2 Lowbridge (16013, £30.50). However, one we didn't get chance to squeeze in and therefore comes to you exclusively is the Leyland MCW Atlantean Merseyside PTE (16535, £30.50, pictured below).

According to EFE: "Liverpool buses are always popular and in this vehicle we have the original MCW Atlantean as it continued service in the Merseyside PTE fleet. Registered 372 BKA, fleet number E2 works the short route 79 to Penny Lane."

More EFE new releases will be announced in the next issue of Diecast Collector.
