Corgi July-December 2015 releases

A new Corgi catalogue is always a much-anticipated moment amongst collectors and the July-December 2015 edition was no exception when it was unveiled on the 1st June. With the well publicised reshaping of one of our favourite brands clearly imposing itself on the product range at present, many have been quick to criticise the lack of new tooling this time but this is an essential part of the company’s turn around strategy to ensure its future and there is still plenty to add to our collections.

Also notable is that Corgi has been able to maintain recent price reductions across the range, particularly with most of the Vanguards at just £19.99 and the OOC buses at just £29.99.  With costs steadily increasing in China, this step is to be applauded.

There are certainly some fabulous new releases across Corgi's four main ranges: Hauliers of Renown, Vanguards, Original Omnibus Company and Aviation Archive. I won't duplicate what we've already posted on the links above but with the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain so nearly upon us, it is great to see some wonderful new models from both sides commemorating this pivotal moment in history.

There are still plenty of exciting models yet to be released that were announced in the January-June 2015 catalogue so, in addition to all the great new announcements, here is a reminder of the other models still yet to come too...
