Corgi announces special commemorative Red Arrows model.

To mark its 50th display season, the Red Arrows' aircraft are carrying a special colour scheme for 2014 and Corgi has just announced that it is releasing a version of the famous Hawk trainer aircraft to celebrate the occasion. The new colour scheme incorporates a Union flag inspired graphic to the tail fin and the model should be available from September. The model will be limited to a run of just 1,000 with a RRP of £42.99. This is sure to "fly" out of the shops so make sure you don't miss out!

The real aircraft are already well into a busy summer schedule and there will be several opportunities to witness the real thing in action over the coming months. Two that stand out in the very near future are Waddington International Airshow (RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire - 5th/6th July - www.waddingtonairshow.co.uk) and the Royal International Air Tattoo (RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire - 11th-13th July - www.airtattoo.com).
