Limited edition model due for release in September, priced £9.99. ...
To commemorate the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first baby, Corgi has announced it's set to produce a limited edition diecast model MINI and the replica will carry the baby's name, once this has been officialy announced by the Palace... let's hope it's not too long, otherwise it might not fit on!

To make this commemorative model even more exclusive pupils at Kate’s former school, St Andrew’s of Pangbourne were asked to design a ‘Royal Baby logo’ to feature on the finished model. Children ranging from ages five to twelve entered the competition and seven-year-old James Maloney’s union flag themed pram design was chosen as the winning entry. With just 5,000 pieces available this commemorative MINI adds to Corgi’s growing range of diecast collectable Royal Memorabillia and provides a potentially perfect keepsake to commemorate the birth of Britains’ future monarch.

The Royal Baby MINI will be available from September with an RRP £9.99. Remember, to get the latest collecting news delivered direct to your inbox every two weeks, sign up for our e-newsletter.
