Something we're going to introduce on the Collectors Club of Great Britain over the coming weeks, is a round-up of some of the latest prices achieved at auction. We'll break it down into the main areas of collecting: diecast models, TV and film collectables, model railways and general toys, so you can read all about your favourite collectables. We're kicking things off with a look at some of the recent TV and film items sold at auctioneers including Vectis, Aston's and more! Hot Toys Movie Masters Robocop Movie Masterpiece 1/6th scale, ED209 large scale kit, Mint, unassembled complete with assembly instructions within Good Plus to Excellent packaging. Sold for £200, Vectis, 20th March.


Palitoy The Empire Strikes Back Slave 1 Boba Fett's Space Ship, 1980 issue, contents are Near Mint to Mint, transfers are unapplied, complete with unopened plastic bag containing accessories including frozen Han Solo, Bounty Hunter leaflet, instruction log and product leaflet within Excellent original box. Sold for £80, Vectis, 20th March.

Code III Collectibles Star Wars Darth Vader's TIE Fighter, complete with certificate of authenticity, collectors patch, assembly instructions, display plinth, although unchecked for completeness appears Near Mint to Mint, within inner polystyrene packaging and Good outer box. Sold for £110, Vectis, 20th March.

Marx Toys The Mighty Kong,c.1950's: battery operated remote controlled King-Kong style gorilla, all over plush with dark grey plastic head, hands, and feet, and tinplate baseplate. Includes tinplate control unit and wire. G condition, brown corrosion to outside of control unit but clean inside, in working order although Kong does not appear to be able to stand. Contained in a VG reproduction box by Toytent.com. Sold for £110, Aston's, 23rd March.

Corgi Toys Gift Set 8 Lions of Longleat. Vehicle is VG (dusty), with figure (no gun), barrel, three pieces of meat, three lions and lions den (plastic heavily warped). Contained in F box missing cellophane window. Together with Daktari Land Rover (G/VG, dusty) with tiger, lion, and two figures, unboxed. Sold for £55, Aston's, 23rd March.

Corgi Toys 336 James Bond Toyota 2000GT. G/VG, boot does not close, with VG inner tray, secret instructions envelope only, and G/F outer box with tears to end flaps and one flap missing. Sold for £75, Aston's, 23rd March.

An Original 1967 Corgi Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, appears very good, boxed; rubs / stains / creases to box and perspex split. Sold for £100, Sheffield Auction Gallery, 5th April.

Corgi The Green Hornet's 'Black Beauty' No 268, boxed. Sold for £95, Reeman Dansie, 12th March.

Dinky UFO Interceptor No 351 and Shado 2 Mobile No 353 both boxed. Sold for £100, Reeman Dansie, 12th March.

Chad Valley Give A Show Batman Projector: Battery Operated projector complete with 112 Colour Slides 16 complete Stories in good clean condition with original box. Sold for £150, Mullock's, 6th March.

Secret Agent’s Aston Martin Action Car: Battery operated fully operational functional car. Automatic actions Bullet proof shield goes up and down hidden machine guns extend and light up with machine gun sounds crash bumpers extend starts and stops automatically manual functions front wheel steer license plate revolve push button ejection seat throws enemy through roof top condition is great with original box. Sold for £280, Mullock's, 6th March.
