The Saab 900 is considered to be the pinnacle of Saab car design

The Saab 900 is considered to be the pinnacle of Saab car design and was produced by the Swedish car manufacturer in two generations. DNA Collectibles is focusing on the first, manufactured between 1978 and 1993, and producing it as a 1/18 scale resincast. The specific model chosen is the Saab 900 Turbo T16 Airflow, chosen as “the most beautiful Saab ever” at the Saab festival in June 2007 in Trollhättan.

T16 stands for “turbo” and the number of valves (16 - 4 per cylinder). The specification was quite impressive for that time - 175 HP, 0–62 mph in 8.5 seconds, and a top speed of 135 mph. Complete with the special Airflow kit - front and rear bumpers, side skirts, spoiler extension, and the lateral air vents - DNA's model will be something very special indeed.

Priced at £162.99 each, DNA’s Saab 900 Turbo T16 Airflow will be produced in four limited edition colours – Green (499 pieces), Red (399), Bronze (249) and Grey (249) – and each  chassis will be individually numbered.
