Upcoming auctions: Dreweatts, Aston's and more

8th November Dreweatts
This is a general collectors’ sale with two private diecast collections that have come to auction via family estate sales. The sale will feature top quality 1950-1960s Dinky and Corgi items.

11th November Aumann Auctions
This sale will feature farm toys from the American Farm Heritage Museum.

11th November Bertoia
Heavy cast iron models of all types will feature in this American sale.

12th November Aston’s   
Chris Aston informs me that this sale will be the largest in Aston’s history and may be extended over two days. A huge selection of top quality and ex-shop stock models from a range of manufacturers will be sold.

12th November Lacy Scott & Knight
The usual, high quality selection of Dinky and Corgi will go under the hammer, notably a mint Supertoys model of the Mighty Antar with the Propeller Load (986). A number of interesting French Dinky Toys include a Beast Carrier and a Refuse Truck. Also featured in the sale are a number of white metal small scale models of fire service and ambulance vehicles.

22nd November Vectis   
Following on from the Robin Kerr Toy Collection in September, another superb collection will be sold by Vectis Auctions. Named the ‘David Ireland Collection’, it features a large selection of pre 1940 Dinky Toys Gift Sets with many variations of certain sets.
