Westland Whirlwind HAS Mk VII
PRICE £47.99 LIMIT 1,500 SCALE 1/72 REF NO AA39102

Corgi’s delightful Royal Navy variant of the ubiquitous Whirlwind, in this case an anti-submarine version, is eye-catching in period navy blue and yellow. Like its RAF cousin, it offers the choice of folded or deployed rotors, a sliding cabin door, moving main/tail rotors and a display stand. The colour scheme denotes XN387/626, of 719 Naval Air Squadron, at Eglington in 1961.

*'Wings and Things' is a regular feature in Diecast Collector magazine.
