Lockheed’s superlative Blackbird enjoys a small-scale release here, but the detail is no less impressive. The trademark corrugated wing skin is well-rendered, as are the afterburner cans, and the model captures the snake-like lines of the aircraft well. The printing is marvellous too with authentic US Air Force markings and maintenance stencilling. The only thing missing is the nose pitot, which would be impossible to reproduce well in this scale.
